Job Summary:

Calian Group is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a hospital setting. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients in achieving their physical and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and functional abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized treatment plans to enhance their independence and mobility.
  • Rehabilitation Interventions: Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions, adhering to regulatory standards and scope of practice, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Patient Education: Provide education and guidance to patients on injury prevention, health promotion, and ergonomics, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery, communicating effectively with patients and colleagues to achieve shared goals.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Graduate of an approved physiotherapy program and current licensure in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital settings, with a strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices.
  • Language Skills: Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset, but not required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Certifications and Clearances: Must have or be willing to obtain an updated Police Check of the Vulnerable Section, CPR and First Aid - Level C certificate, and TB Test/Chest Xray.
  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work Monday – Friday between 8 am to 4 pm or 7.30 am to 5 pm.
