We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team on a contractual basis. As a Physiotherapist with Alio Health Services, you will have the opportunity to work in a hospital setting, supporting patients in Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and functional abilities, identifying causes of deficits and creating personalized treatment plans to improve independence and function.
- Deliver physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions using evidence-based approaches and best practices, in accordance with regulatory standards and scope of practice.
- Obtain and document informed patient consent for assessment and treatment, providing accurate explanations and instructions.
- Provide screening assessments, education, and orthoses recommendations in a direct access setting, prescribing exercises to rehabilitate and prevent injuries.
- Offer ergonomics education, including on-site assessments in patients' workplaces, and provide physiotherapy-related education on topics such as injury prevention and health promotion.
- Graduate of an educational program approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
- Current license in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital settings.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
