About the Role

This role will play a crucial part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our childcare centre, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized and have experience in office administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating Centre Activities: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events as required.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Schedule and confirm appointments for staff and management.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Budget Management: Plan and control budget and expenditures for the centre.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective centre operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with staff.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 7 months of experience in office administration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
