Senior Housing Finance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Housing Finance Specialist to join our team at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our housing finance strategies and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to inform our housing finance decisions, ensuring that our policies and programs are aligned with the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Develop and implement effective strategies to address the complex issues facing the housing market, including affordability, accessibility, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations, to ensure that our policies and programs are informed by the needs and perspectives of all stakeholders.
- Provide Expert Advice: Provide expert advice and guidance to senior leadership and other stakeholders on housing finance matters, including market trends, policy developments, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Projects: Manage projects and initiatives related to housing finance, including the development of new policies and programs, and the implementation of existing ones.
- Education: An undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in housing finance, with increasing responsibility in areas such as policy development, program management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of the housing market, including market trends, policy developments, and regulatory requirements.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
