We are seeking a highly skilled Housing Finance Specialist to join our team at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. In this role, you will provide research, analysis, and guidance to respond to changing issues and trends in our operating environment and contribute to new policies, products, services, and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance our products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new policies, products, and services that meet the needs of our clients.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to inform our business decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry experts.
- Provide analytical support to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- An undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in housing finance, insurance, and/or product/program development within the multi-unit/residential space.
- A solid understanding of the business context and development of government programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
- A thorough understanding of the housing industry and CMHC's role in it.
- An understanding and awareness of social, economic, and political trends affecting the provision of housing.
- Experience in managing projects (project management or change management).
