Job Overview:

As a Lead Product Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our Feature Hub, a self-service SaaS platform that allows users to effortlessly construct analytical datasets. You will collaborate closely with diverse teams, including engineering, design, data analysis, and business stakeholders, to spearhead the development and launch of new features, enhancements, and integrations that align with consumer needs and surpass customer expectations. Your extensive knowledge of data platforms, SaaS solutions, and industry dynamics will inform our product roadmap and guarantee a premium product experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy:
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with the company's overarching objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to pinpoint market opportunities and prioritize product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to formulate a product strategy that distinguishes our Feature Hub SaaS offering and drives customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Product Development and Oversight:
  • Oversee the complete product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, market-ready features and solutions.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud streaming, storage, pipeline orchestration, and other cloud technologies.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and user-centric design within the product team.
  • Implement best practices for agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release cycles.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including risk, growth, and data science, to comprehend customer needs, gather feedback, and align product offerings with consumer requirements.
  • Engage with customers, industry experts, and partners to gather insights, validate product strategies, and identify areas for enhancement.
Product Performance and Analytics:
  • Define and monitor key product metrics, assess product performance, and analyze user feedback and behavior to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Regularly report on product performance, roadmap updates, and key milestones to the executive team and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in product management or related roles, with a focus on SaaS products, preferably in the big data analytics domain.
  • Deep understanding of real-time and batch data architecture, big data analytics for reporting and machine learning, data modeling, and big data cloud services.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Python programming languages and cloud services like Apache Kafka, Spark, AWS S3, Cassandra, APIs is preferred.
  • Strong track record of successfully leading and launching complex, high-quality software products.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, user-centered design principles, and product management best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Able to handle high-pressure situations and is ready to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
