About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented User Experience Researcher to join our team at D2L. As a User Experience Researcher, you will play a critical role in helping us understand our users' needs and behaviors, and inform the design of our products to meet those needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Participate in the experimental design process to develop and implement research studies that inform product design decisions
  • Collaborate closely with Product Designers and Product Managers to ensure that research findings are integrated into product development
  • Facilitate moderated UX Research studies to gather data on user behavior and preferences
  • Lead research operations efforts for studies, including recruitment, tools, and materials
  • Assist with data analysis, including qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Communicate research findings to cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Contribute to team meetings and help level up colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed at least 1 research methods course
  • Experience with research design and controlled data collection
  • Experience recruiting and testing participants
  • Experience working in a team
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Basic computer literacy

Education

We are looking for candidates who are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Psychology or a related field with the Co-op option.
