User Experience Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented User Experience Researcher to join our team at D2L. As a User Experience Researcher, you will play a critical role in understanding the needs and behaviors of our users, and using that knowledge to inform the design of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the experimental design process to develop and implement research studies that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Product Designers and Product Managers to ensure that research findings are integrated into product development.
- Facilitate moderated UX Research studies to gather data and insights from users.
- Lead research operations efforts for studies, including recruitment, tools, and materials.
- Assist with data analysis, including qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Communicate research findings to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Contribute to team meetings and help to develop the skills of colleagues.
Requirements:
- Completed at least 1 research methods course.
- Experience with research design and controlled data collection.
- Experience recruiting and testing participants.
- Experience working in a team.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
Education:
Currently a candidate for Bachelor's degree or diploma in Psychology or a related field with the Co-op option.
