Job Summary

The Alberta Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker III to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing advanced clinical services and leadership to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced level assessment and treatment services to patients with complex and multidimensional medical, psychosocial, environmental, and instrumental needs.
  • Act as a clinical lead, providing leadership in the planning, development, and delivery of services in a specific area.
  • Supervise students and team members as assigned, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide health care services, including consultation and education to patients, families, and staff.
  • Participate in staff development, quality improvement, and evaluation activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
  • Experience providing Sexual Offender treatment in an inpatient or community setting is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a Forensic mental health setting is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is an asset.
  • Current working knowledge of Sexual Offender risk assessment tools is preferred.
  • ATSA certification is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a correctional institution or with a forensic population is preferred.
