Position Overview:
The role of Social Worker III involves delivering specialized assessment and intervention for clients facing intricate challenges. This position requires collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the provision of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic interventions for individuals with multifaceted needs.
- Serve as a clinical leader, guiding the strategic planning and enhancement of service delivery.
- Oversee and mentor students and junior team members as designated.
Essential Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Social Work is mandatory.
Must hold an active registration or be eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and trauma-informed care.
- Proven track record working with clients exhibiting Borderline Personality Disorder and engaging in high-risk behaviors within community or outpatient environments.
- Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of training from an accredited Dialectical Behaviour Therapy program.
- Experience and comfort in working with individuals who display high-risk behaviors.
