Business Unit Leader

Your mission as Business Unit Leader at Amaris Consulting would be to create, develop, and make profitable and sustainable what is going to be your own Business Unit having operational and strategic control over it.

To make it grow, you'll operate on a daily basis on five main axes:

Business and Strategy

  • Animate, coordinate, and develop your own Business Unit and ensure its growth.
  • Realize a client/offers mapping of the technologies and competencies on the market with the help of other Group internal Departments.
  • Make a structured technical and financial business proposal and negotiate prices.
  • Prepare and realize qualification meetings between clients and consultants.
  • Realize project review, follow-up, and establish projects reports.

Client relation

  • Monitor customer activities to anticipate and acquire projects.
  • Maintain a clients' portfolio updated and strengthen the existing partnerships.
  • Open new accounts by managing legal and contractual aspects.

Financial management of the profit center

  • Read and optimize the Profit & Loss and calculate margin.
  • Make advanced Profit & Loss analysis, detect business issues, and build an action plan to optimize Turnover & Contributive Margin.
  • Handle recovery subjects.

Management

  • Give opinions on Business Plan presentation.
  • Support the key success people in their development.
  • Improve and propose new processes and initiatives.

HR

  • Participate in the recruitment and the management of a consultants' team (sourcing, interview, reporting, contract signature, etc.).
  • Follow up the career development of his team (role attribution, appraisal, key people involvement, etc.).
  • Manage and anticipate inter-contract situation with adapted solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and the B2B sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in French and English.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Based in Montreal.
