Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Site Coordinator to join our team at FGF Brands. As an HR Site Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a strong understanding of human resources policies and procedures. You will provide support and coordination in the effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Human Resources for all Team Members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Manufacturing, Team Members, and Talent and Development teams
  • Oversee agency communications and assist site leaders with employee relations
  • Communicate FGF policies and protocol to agencies and coordinate interviews with agencies and operation leaders
  • Review resumes and ensure candidates have the required skill set, availability, and attitude to work in the plant
  • Work closely with operations leaders and T&D to determine current and upcoming staffing needs
  • Track and monitor temp agency orders and provide feedback to agencies
  • Gather feedback from agencies on an ongoing basis and summarize challenges to create an ops/agency action plan
  • Manage training documentation for key roles and oversee the Training Incentive Program Tracker
  • In conjunction with stakeholders, problem-solve and troubleshoot any issues or challenges
  • Participate as a Health & Safety advocate as required
  • Oversee payroll issues and manage the daily payroll approval process for production Team Members
  • Set up new Team Members in the Time and Attendance system
  • Assist in Progressive Disciplinary situations and Performance Evaluations related to Team Associates
  • Cover other Site Coordinators as required

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment or warehouse
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation specific to Ontario (e.g., Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act)
  • Good understanding of HR policies/procedures and employee relations
  • Proven competency in operating office software and productivity tools (MS Office suite, HRIS)
  • Experience/knowledge of WSIB
  • Valid driver's license required

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, RRSP matching program, tuition reimbursement, and a generous flexible medical/spending account.
