**Job Details**:

- **Position**: Crew Manager - Construction
- **Employment Type**: Full-Time
- **Work Hours**: 45 hours per week, with occasional options to pick up weekend shifts. Hours may vary and could be during the day, evening, or overnight. A minimum of 4.5 hours will be paid on days shorter than 4.5 hours.
- **Compensation**: Pay starts at $18.50/hr during the 3-month probation period, followed by an increase to $20/hr afterward. Compensation will vary based on experience and qualifications. Overtime pay available.
- **Pay Schedule**: Weekly pay, direct deposit with electronic paystub. First week's pay held back.
- **Benefits**: Medical, dental, vision coverage, and additional benefits such as massage and physiotherapy. Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) matching available after the minimum 3-month probation period.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Assume overall responsibility and control of crew activities on-site.
- Provide site orientation to all crew members.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure work is completed according to plans and industry standards.
- Monitor and maintain quality control, ensuring job sites are prepared for trades and managing deficiencies with Project Managers.
- Monitor schedule and budget, identifying and communicating risks to management.
- Co-ordinate and conduct all required inspections, adhering to permits and regulations.
- Maintain a daily site log and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Order construction materials and coordinate delivery as needed.
- Assign daily tasks to labor and service personnel.
- Conduct daily reports with progress updates and visual documentation.
- Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Be willing to travel for projects, including some out-of-town work requiring overnight stays.
- Be open to working double shifts and mandatory weekend work during high seasons (April-October).
- Manage disposal bin usage and coordinate pickups.
- Coordinate trailers for brick, metal, concrete, and garbage pickups.
- Arrange pick up/drop off for labor as needed.
- Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site.

- Highly sociable, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and travel for work.
- Excellent math, writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail under tight deadlines and budgets.
- Knowledge of construction trades, processes, vendors, contractors, regulations, etc.
- Effective time management and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Respect for client/B2B data confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company in a dynamic, ever-changing industry.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Compensation based on experience and qualifications, with potential for an annual bonus.
