Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Richmond Consulting Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone, to create beautiful and functional surfaces in various settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong and durable bond.
  • Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment as needed.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a level and even surface.
  • Install tile strips and mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and repair surfaces as needed.
  • Work with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
