Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles on walls and floors, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking walls and floors.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required.
- Set tiles in place, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings.
- Grout and seal tiles to ensure a watertight seal.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
- Install tile strips and other flooring materials.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in tile installation.
- Physical ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
