Job Title: Tile Installer

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Richmond Consulting Ltd.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles, mosaics, and other materials on walls and floors. This includes preparing surfaces, mixing and applying adhesives, and aligning tiles to create a seamless finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking walls and floors.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, such as mortar and cement, to secure tiles in place.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a precise fit.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on tile installation techniques.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall and floor designs.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
  • Install tile strips.
