We are seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team at Richmond Consulting Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone, to create beautiful and functional surfaces in residential and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
- Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts to ensure a strong and durable bond.
- Set tiles in place, using hand tools and power equipment as needed.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
- Align and straighten tiles to ensure a level and even surface.
- Install tile strips and mosaic tiles to create decorative designs.
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and repair surfaces as needed.
- Work with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process.
- 1-2 years of experience in tile installation.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to dust, noise, and physical demands.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Work Schedule:40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
