Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Quality Inn & Conference Centre Festival. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our facilities are clean and safe for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Inspect sites and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for housekeeping operations.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or equipment replacement.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and process payments for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist housekeeping staff with their duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • 3-4 people in the team.
  • Permanent work term.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
