The Bruce Hotel is a leading hospitality provider, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Executive Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations at The Bruce Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, ensuring that safety standards and departmental policies are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
    • Ensure that staff are trained and equipped to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service
  • Quality and Safety
    • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance guest satisfaction and reduce costs
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Manage the inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that they are adequate and up-to-date
    • Coordinate the procurement of supplies and equipment to meet the needs of the housekeeping department
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with hotel staff, including front office, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service
