About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Indian Authentic Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Work closely with our dietitian and chef to prepare special meals for patients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we are always well-stocked and prepared for busy periods.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, to ensure our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Willingness to relocate and relocate costs covered by employer.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week, permanent position.
