About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Il Forno Fusion Canmore. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our guests.

Chef Management

Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality dishes in a timely manner.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.

Quality Control

Inspect and taste dishes to ensure that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure that our guests receive exceptional service and that our kitchen operations run smoothly.

Requirements
  • Culinary Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a head chef or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.

Culinary Education

A degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field.

Language Skills

Fluency in English is required.

Work Environment

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and focus throughout the shift.
