Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Bankhead Restaurant and Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet health and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to our guests' tastes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant or kitchen.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and train kitchen staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
