Marketing Director for HIV/AIDS Franchise

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is a research-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and commercializes innovative medicines in areas of unmet medical need. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of the HIV/AIDS strategic business plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a cross-functional therapeutic team and senior marketing professionals to drive the franchise's growth and success. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing the HIV/AIDS strategic business plan, including tactical execution and overall promotion/positioning for the HIV franchise
* Leading the development of tactical plans, messaging, and communication strategy, and other customer initiatives aligned to the field sales POA
* Executing the field sales POA, including development of sales tools, coordination with sales training, execution of sales meetings, and driving for results
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, sales teams, and external partners
* Providing strategic guidance and support to the Senior Director, Marketing/Sales, HIV/AIDS

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and sales, with a proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams and driving business growth. A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is required, and an advanced science degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD or an advanced business degree such as an MBA is desirable. Direct-to-Patient experience and e-Marketing skills are also highly valued.
