Director of HIV/AIDS Marketing Strategy

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is a research-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and commercializes innovative medicines in areas of unmet medical need. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Brand and Digital Marketing to lead the development and execution of the HIV/AIDS strategic business plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a cross-functional therapeutic team and senior marketing professionals to drive the tactical execution and overall promotion/positioning for the HIV franchise. Key responsibilities include:

* Developing and executing the HIV/AIDS strategic business plan
* Leading the development of tactical plans, messaging, and communication strategy
* Executing the field sales plan, including development of sales tools and coordination with sales training
* Driving results and managing multiple projects/priorities
* Building external relationships leading to brand advocacy
* Direct-to-Patient track record of successful pharma/biotech patient/community marketing

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with an advanced science degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD or an advanced business degree such as an MBA being desirable. Direct-to-Patient experience and e-Marketing skills are also essential.
