Director of HIV/AIDS Marketing Strategy

About the Role

The Director, Brand and Digital Marketing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the HIV/AIDS strategic business plan, supporting the tactical execution and overall promotion/positioning for the HIV franchise, which includes both HIV Treatment and HIV Prevention.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a cross-functional therapeutic team and senior marketing professionals to drive business growth and market share.
  2. Develop and execute performance management, planning, prioritization, objective setting, recruitment, and selection strategies.
  3. Utilize market research, advisory boards, and competitive intelligence to inform franchise strategy and tactical plans.
  4. Contribute to the formation of franchise strategy for HIV/AIDS and the overall Brand Plan and Promotional Plan for Action (POA).
  5. Develop and execute tactical plans, messaging, and communication strategies, and other customer initiatives aligned to the field sales POA.
  6. Lead the execution of the field sales POA, including development of sales tools, coordination with sales training, execution of sales meetings, and driving for results.
  7. Exhibit strong executive presence, sound business judgment, and clear decision-making skills.
  8. Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on delivering results.
  9. Develop external relationships leading to brand advocacy and successfully manage expense budget planning and tracking.
  10. Translate brand objectives into e-tactical plans and demonstrate in-depth understanding of digital media.
  11. Hold a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with an advanced science degree or business degree desirable.
  12. Minimum of 3 years in product marketing or advertising focused on consumers or patients, with e-marketing experience preferred.
