About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Interior Health Authority in Kamloops, BC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team providing home support services to clients, assisting with personal care and daily living while promoting maximum independence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with activities of daily personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home through household duties
  • Preparing meals according to designated plans
  • Providing assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Observing and reporting changes in client behavior and condition
  • Performing delegated tasks according to training and procedures
