We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Qualicare Home Care Kamloops. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities, assist with cleaning and setting up medical equipment, and perform various tasks related to patient comfort and care.
- Personal Care: Bathe, dress, and groom patients, as well as supervise exercise routines and transport patients between care facilities.
- Clinical Support: Administer first aid in emergency situations, take patients' vital signs, and deliver messages and reports between departments.
- Education: Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: 1-6 months of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Health Care Aide Certificate are required.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires attention to detail, client focus, dependability, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with 30 hours of work per week.
