We are seeking a highly motivated Health Care Access Program (HCAP) Support Worker to join our team as a patient care specialist. As a HCAP Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing non-clinical, non-direct care supports to patients and residents.
The salary for this position is $24.08 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking a career in healthcare. The wage is competitive, reflecting the importance of this role in delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Description:- Participating as an integral member of a healthcare delivery team
- Establishing caring relationships with clients, residents, and families
- Providing support and assistance with mealtime activities
- Supporting and assisting in carrying out activities
- Performing housekeeping duties
- Greeting and directing visitors
- Restocking supplies
- Completing and maintaining relevant records
The modular training program will be delivered over 12-18 months, enabling you to gain hands-on experience while pursuing your education. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to transition into a Health Care Assistant (HCA) role, further advancing your career in healthcare.
