Job Title: Support Worker - Community Services SpecialistJob Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Worker - Community Services Specialist. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to clients with intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health disabilities, and physical disabilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals, social services, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as food preparation, housekeeping, and personal care.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., developmental services, psychology, social work).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health disabilities, and physical disabilities.
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Mandt System training.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
