We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Access Program (HCAP) Support Worker to join our dynamic team at Connective Support Society. **Job Description and Responsibilities**
As an HCAP Support Worker, you will provide non-direct care and support services to patients and residents in long-term care, assisted living, or home health settings. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Establishing caring relationships with clients, residents, and families
- Providing support and assistance with mealtime activities
- Assisting with daily living tasks and activities
- Greeting and directing visitors
- Performing housekeeping duties
**Training and Development**
You will have the opportunity to participate in our modular training program, which will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a Health Care Assistant. This comprehensive program will be delivered over 12-18 months and will prepare you for a rewarding career in healthcare.
