Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team at Paradox Hotel Vancouver. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating various HR activities, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate HR Activities: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to support employee development and engagement.
  • Support Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures: Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Coordinate HR Department Activities: Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Plan and organize daily operations to ensure efficient and effective HR services.
  • Record and Prepare Minutes: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and oversee the hiring process.
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for growth and development.
  • Work Environment Evaluation: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, Adobe Photoshop, Human Resources software, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Technical Terminology: Familiarity with business terminology, including human resources, tourism, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Area of Work Experience: Experience in human resources, tourism, and related fields.
  • Area of Specialization: Specialization in correspondence, reports and records, and corporate social responsibility.
