About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Catholic Independent Schools of Vancouver Archdiocese. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Superintendent's Office Leadership Team in achieving our mission to provide a high-quality education rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for teacher applicants, providing guidance through the application process and managing the employee lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings on external job boards and ensuring that teacher candidates have a completed application package prior to scheduling an interview.
  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Human Resources Management Team for core HR functions, including ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, employment regulations, and the Independent School Act.
  • Assist with other projects or tasks in the Superintendent's Office as required, including maintaining the internal employment vacancy system and coordinating the letter of permission process between schools and the British Columbia Teacher Certification Branch.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in Human Resource Management and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent and relevant experience in HR, with extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Human Resource Information platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with proven ability to build effective working relationships and adapt to changing priorities.
