About the Role

Trenton Cold Storage is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, selling new business, and managing existing business within our group of warehouses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the entire sales cycle, from strategic planning to identifying opportunities, cold calling to closing contracts, ensuring profitable revenue growth for Trenton Cold Storage.
  • Develop targeted action plans to generate new sales leads and prospects within the market.
  • Develop local and global customer relationships, demonstrating a strong customer focus.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for specific markets and customized service offerings, driving revenue generation and expanding the company's customer base.
  • Create and deliver proposal presentations and request for proposal responses to identify and resolve prospective customers' business challenges.
  • Conduct regular analysis on customer requirements and pricing effectiveness, creating actionable item lists based on findings.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge, staying updated on market trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities, while also fostering relationships with top customers and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Partner with various internal departments to identify opportunities to improve our services.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience with a demonstrated track record.
  • Previous experience in all aspects of supplier relationship management, including prospecting, selling, and closing new business.
  • Ability to gain deep knowledge of the entire suite of company service offerings and utilize it to maximize sales opportunities during customer solutioning.
  • Ability to lead discussions, make presentations, and deliver technical results to a non-technical audience.
  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in using Sales CRM.
  • Language proficiency in English.
  • French an asset.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel as per business needs.
