Restaurant Manager Job Description

Sushi J is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Analyze and manage restaurant budgets to optimize profits, develop cost-effective menus, and monitor labor costs.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints, provide exceptional service, and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans, negotiate with suppliers, and implement operational procedures to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, liquor legislation, and other relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
  • College diploma or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
