Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Attendant III to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and shipping goods, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring expiration dates, and conducting regular cycle counts.
  • Supply Chain Operations: Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored in a safe and secure manner.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies and equipment, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and stock adjustments.
  • Material Handling: Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet-lifts and forklifts, to move goods and supplies around the facility.
Requirements
  • Education: Grade 12 plus one year of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift, bend, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
