Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at 1194497 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our dining room staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • General Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Supporting the Team: Assist with tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the dining room.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
