About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant at Shady Tree Neighbourhood Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our dishroom and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and load dishes, glassware, and flatware from dishwashers and storage areas
  • Sort and store cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sharpen kitchen knives
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Permanent position
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
