Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Supervisor to join our team at 2420308 Alberta Ltd. As an Early Childhood Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that align with the company's mission and values.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education to children.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and lead activities that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, including storytelling, singing, and educational outings.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and program activities.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment necessary for the child-care program.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with early childhood educators and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective child-care program.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a child-care setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
