As a key member of our education and care team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, training, and volunteers, while assisting early childhood educators in delivering programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure high-quality care and education for children
* Collaborate with early childhood educators to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of children
* Order supplies and equipment to maintain a safe and healthy environment
* Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
* Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
* Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a child care setting
* College/CEGEP education
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Punctuality and reliability

Working Conditions:

* Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
* Repetitive tasks

Language:

* English

Work Hours:

* 30 to 35 hours per week
