Job Title: Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to join our team at SiteOne Landscape Supply. As a key member of our branch leadership, you will play a critical role in driving sales and operations planning, statistical demand forecasting, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and implement sales and operations strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Lead by example, promoting a strong safety culture through effective training, policy execution, and workplace organization.
  3. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of inventory management principles, target customer mix, and sales strategies to drive business growth.
  4. Partner with branch leadership to identify and implement new technologies and processes that enhance business performance.
Requirements:
  1. 1-3 years of experience in the green industry, preferably with a focus on irrigation products.
  2. Excellent customer service and management skills, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Experience with sales and operations planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
  4. Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  5. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  6. For internal candidates only: Line of Business (LOB) Certification Level I or higher, preferred.
  7. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  8. High school diploma or equivalent.
