Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care to join our ICU department at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients presenting in the ICU Unit under the direction of the Manager, Med/Surg; ICU; In-patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide top-notch patient care.
  • Demonstrate physical ability to carry out duties of the position.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
  • Current C.P.R., I.V. Therapy and Blood Glucose Monitor and Ventilator Certificates mandatory.
  • In-house Coronary Care Course Certificate or equivalent.
  • One (1) year full-time recent experience in intensive care.

Work Environment

Fort St. John is a small town located above the Peace River Valley, offering a diverse population of 21,000 and big city amenities. Our facility has 46 beds and offers a range of services, including ambulatory clinics, emergency and ICU, birthing centre, and more.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $41.42-$55.91 per hour, based on location and industry standards.
