We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled professional to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing peri-operative procedures. They will work collaboratively with the Operating Room Head Nurse to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based practice.

This role requires a strong commitment to teamwork, effective communication, and a passion for providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of recent experience in the Operating Room/Post-Anesthetic Room and possess the skills and qualifications outlined below.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Current certification in Therapy and Discharge from anesthesia
  • One year recent experience in the Operating Room/Post-Anesthetic Room
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with others effectively
  • Demonstrated physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
