Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Benefits & Retirement Specialist to join our Total Rewards team at Great Canadian Entertainment.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our benefits and retirement programs, including auditing, designing, and implementing new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of employee enrollments, contributions, and other program-related data.
  • Analyze data and make recommendations to improve program efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement training materials and communications to educate employees on benefits and retirement programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as payroll and human resources teams, to ensure seamless integration of benefits and retirement programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in business administration, finance, or human resources.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in benefits management or a similar field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, management, and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle Cloud.
