Construction Inspector/Construction Coordinator

Job Summary:
Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector/Construction Coordinator to support our team in delivering construction-related inspection and coordination activities. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect construction works to monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with specifications and contract requirements.
- Support and enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards at construction sites, conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Oversee and perform site inspections to enforce standards and ensure quality control.
- Coordinate with contractors and third-party testing agents to verify quality control plans and witness testing.
- Support Project Managers and Construction Superintendents in delivering construction scope, schedule, budget, and quality of work packages.
- Monitor and report on contractor progress and performance.
- Review and verify contractor daily reports.
- Assist in quality control assessments and quality reports.
- Support in resolving issues related to cost, schedule, or quality variances.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, geoscience, or a related field, or diploma with 3+ years of relevant work experience in heavy civil, northern mining, or remediation projects.
- Ability to understand specifications, quality plans, and perform QA functions.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to monitor contractor adherence to specifications and standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to prepare reports and documentation.
