Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Strategy Recruitment Group. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire order process from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Initial Preparation and RFQs: Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of commodities, including metals, to identify the best suppliers and negotiate prices.
- Purchase Agreement Terms: Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Commercial Analysis: Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendors and relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality products.
- New Vendor Identification: Identify new vendors when needed to expand our supplier network.
- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement and cost-saving project work to optimize our procurement processes.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management.
- 3+ years of automotive industry experience, preferably with knowledge of metals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
