As a Mortgage Business Developer at BMO, you will play a vital role in helping us achieve this vision. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure their needs are met.
We estimate that the salary for this position is around $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in mortgage sales or a related field. A post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Strong interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills are essential, as well as expert knowledge of self-management and teamwork, personal lending, relationship sales, and management.
You should also have functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, trust services, business and commercial lending, and cash management. In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulatory requirements is also necessary.
- Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with clients to identify new business opportunities and provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to drive business results.
- Proactively contact referral sources and originations to discuss home financing solutions.
- Support the delivery of targeted marketing programs, promotions, and other initiatives.
