We are seeking a skilled Community Centre Worker to join our team at Community Welfare Plus Center Inc. As a Community Centre Worker, you will be responsible for supervising support staff, performing administrative tasks, and assessing client skill strengths and development needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise support staff and ensure the smooth operation of the community centre
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
- Assess client skill strengths and development needs, and develop strategies to support their growth
- Develop, coordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
- Supervise children's visits with parents to ensure their safety
- Screen, recruit, and train volunteers and support staff
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
Requirements
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
Work Environment
35 hours per week, permanent position
Work Language: English
