The HR Recruitment Coordinator plays a crucial role in implementing strategic recruitment strategies and building an ongoing pool of candidates. This position is responsible for the entire hiring process, including job descriptions, headhunting talent, screening, and presenting employment offers.

Priorities include:

  • Implementing and managing recruitment strategies to fill requirements while driving new solutions.
  • Developing a hiring and interview process to assess and select candidates.
  • Actively sourcing candidates with a focus on marketing the opportunity on various platforms to attract a diverse pool of talent.
  • Employing effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to reach out to potential candidates and understand their career goals.
  • Screening resume applications and pre-screening candidates to understand their career goals while promoting the career opportunity.
  • Scheduling interviews with hiring managers and following up with candidates throughout the interview process.
  • Conducting reference checks and preparing offer documents.
  • Assertively researching opportunities to continuously improve recruitment processes and attract talent to the organization.

This role requires a diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, with CHRP certification considered an asset. A minimum of one year of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in the social services sector, is also required. Experience with BambooHR is highly valued. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as a passion for people, HR, and recruitment. Self-motivation, ambition, and excellent organization and project management skills are essential.
