We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Skyway Brands YVR Inc. as a key member of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and high-quality service delivery.
Inventory Management and RequisitioningRequisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
Staff Supervision and TrainingSupervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Quality Control and AssuranceEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Financial ManagementPrepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Customer Service and RelationsAddress customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Reporting and Record-KeepingMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Food Order ManagementPrepare and submit food order summaries for the chef, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Culinary Knowledge and ExpertiseHave a thorough knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, ensuring that menu offerings are consistently prepared to the highest standards.
Assembly and Delivery of FoodSupervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner.
Work Scheduling and PlanningEstablish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately trained and prepared to meet the demands of the business.
Requirements- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of communication
- 30 to 40 hours per week
