About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting their full potential.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
